Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples, an American singer and actress. She is most famous for her role as Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012), and Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). Also, she played the lead part of Jerrica Jem Benton for the feature film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. There is a younger sister Ally. Aubrey was a part of the Orlando Repertory Theatre during her growing up. She was the valedictory speech for her class during her time at Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University had accepted her. However, they agreed to her admission twice. The second time was due to her Nashville performance. Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had the role of a regular in Necessary Roughness (1991). She was in the filmed television films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. The Good Mother was the show's second season. she played Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. In 2019, Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire has named Peeples as one of the top performers under 20 in September 2014
