Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a artist who was born in Newark, New Jersey on the 9th August 1963. The parents of her are gospel superstars Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne Warwick sings as well. The mother of Whitney Houston and her daughter started singing professionally in the church of New Hope Baptist in Newark at the age of fifteen years old. They performed the back vocals for Chaka Khan's track from 1978 Im Every Woman. Then, she performed backing vocals to Lou Rawls & Jermaine jackson and her mother. Her first gig was as a lead performer for the New York-based New York Funk band Material. Her quality of vocal performance attracted the attention of major record label Arista where she signed up in 1983. Whitney Houston, her debut album that debuted in 1985 was the most-sold album by an unproven singer. A number of hit singles, such as Saving All My Love For You How Will I Know It's Good to Love You and The Most Beautiful Love of All were released from the album, setting the stage for her to beat the Beatles with seven consecutive US number ones. The album came out in 1987, and it sold over 25 million copies worldwide. The Whitney album from 1987, that featured songs like that I Wanna Dance With Somebody and Where Do Broken Hearts Get to, continued her success. However, it was The Bodyguard of 1992 that made her one of the top-selling musicians in recent history. Although her performance in the film and its soundtrack were not popular, her Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You and The Bodyguard album that accompanied it topped charts around the globe for several months. Also in 1993 when she got married Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition singer who gave her only child Bobbi Kristina Brown. Around this time, her well-documented drug use started and in 1996, Bobbi Kristina Brown was using drugs daily.

Dana Bash, also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz, is an American anchorwoman and journalist who works as a political correspondent for CNN. Her programs on Saturdays include Evans & Novak Late Edition, Inside Politics and Inside Politics. Bash was awarded many times, including a place at the top of the Women in Washington Power List published by Elle magazine. Bash is widely praised for her amazing ability as a anchor and reporter.
