Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia was born and raised in Canada and is well-known among Canadians due to her work as an Canadian actress in the Freeform fantasy show Shadowhunters. She also appeared in Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda e Voltea a' que te enamores. Model and dancer by profession Toubia has also had the success she has achieved in both areas. She hails from Montreal however, she grew up studying in Texas. Her love of performing has been with her since the age of a child. At a very young age she was learned a range of styles. When she was 15 years old, she began competing in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia was a hit when she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant show. In 2010, she began her acting career as a receptionist for the Telemundo t l novela Aurora. In 2015, she appeared in her debut movie, the action-drama Tattooed Love.
